Mattress Warranty & Care
Once you’ve purchased the bed of your dreams, our best-in-the-business customer support hasn’t reached its end – we’ll deliver and set up your bed and will continue to provide answers throughout the life of your mattress and foundation. If something goes wrong – though we’re absolutely confident it won’t – we’re here to make things right for you.
In the mattress biz, that’s code for both customer service and warranty. In fact, we’re proud to offer warranties on all of the products we sell. Most mattresses come with a ten-year warranty, while adjustable bed bases carry an incredible 20-year warranty.
How Does a Mattress Warranty Work?
While we stock only the best in mattress and foundation technology from quality manufacturers, our warranty protects you in the unlikely event that your mattress fails before the end of its expected lifespan. If a failure in manufacturing or physical defect does occur, a warranty can provide a replacement mattress or prorated credit towards a replacement if you’ve owned the mattress for a while.
Mattress warranties are designed to specifically cover a physical defect in your mattress that was caused by the manufacturer. Defects include:
- Sagging beyond a certain threshold, depending on mattress type
- Broken coils
- Surface or structural deformity including size inconsistencies, bunching or broken seams, and unexpected tearing
Proper Mattress Care
You’ve put a lot of effort into finding the perfect mattress for you, so taking great care of it just makes good sense. Best of all, you’ll ensure your mattress warranty stays intact. Follow these tips to provide your mattress with the best of care:
- Leave the tags alone. We know the “don’t remove under penalty of law” tags are the source of a running joke – but you’ll need to leave them intact in the rare event you need to make a warranty claim on your mattress.
- Use a mattress protector. Since our mattresses are supremely comfortable, you’ll be tempted to eat breakfast in bed more often than ever. A mattress stain can void your warranty, so be sure to cover your mattress with a comfy, waterproof pad to protect its surface.
- Clean regularly. If you’ve used proper protection, occasional vacuuming to remove dust should be all that’s needed. If you do spill on your mattress, spot clean with a bit of warm water and mild detergent; soaking your mattress can cause mold to form and damage your foam or pillow top.
- Use the right foundation. To ensure the comfort and structural integrity of your mattress long-term, you’ll want a proper foundation to support it. When it comes to your warranty, that old, shaky box spring (or your bedroom floor) just won’t cut it. Make sure you have the right foundation to avoid voiding your warranty.
- Rotate to even out wear. Depending on the mattress type you’ve selected, you’ll want to rotate, flip, or both to ensure even wear over time. Check with a No Bull expert to determine the right rotation schedule for your mattress.
- Move with care. Bending, falls, and other incidents can cause damage and void your warranty. Make sure doorways and stairs are wide enough to accommodate your mattress and always enlist someone else to help you.
